The x value is one of the possible values but you have the y equal to the radius so that part is wrong
I set y equal to the radius

Because the y value is 0 for the function

Thats not how that works
You can’t have a y or x component equal to the magnitude if the other component is nonzero
Its kinda difficult for most people to understand but I calculated the tangent slope of the function then the slope of the circle and set them equal Using that I setup a equation for the x and y terms
