It's always best to assume some value to be 100
Let the initial 98% solution be of 100g
So 98g h2so4
Density of water is 1g/cc
So we have 2/1 = 2cc water
If vol is doubled, we now have 4cc water aka 4g water
With still 98g h2so4
There w/w concentration is (98/102)*100
