Hello! When you say "arrange 5 people" do you mean in a straight line or in a table type of manner?
when they use people it often means they are all different
but then there's no reason to tell you how many boys
so you literally can't tell what they mean you to do
people are distinct objects, they are never treated identically
in this case, you can do 11 c 5 (choosing 5 random people from the total 11) * 5!(arranging them)
so this will be 11!/6!
The q in our exam didnt specify
It just said how many possible areangements

I made a silly mistake where i thought the boys are identical to each other
And the girls are identical to each other
there has only been one question ive encountered, where people were identical
it was when the question specifically stated 'identical twins(treat like identical objects)'
