Tutoring mathematics mainly
Cool!
ik thats a basic answer sorry but its the only thing i can think of
making money but just doing pure research in mathematics requires an undergraduate or preferably a graduate degree in it
so tutoring is the best thing youve got i think
That sounds good, who do you tutor?High school students?
An idea I had is freelancing with Python on Upwork
I personally dont tutor anyone im just a kid who likes hanging out in this server
but who you should tutor depends on your current level in math
if youre HORRIBLE, truly H O R R I B L E like failed it during highschool at math, then you should tutor elementary schoolers, but if you wanna do a math related side hustle then i dnot think thats the case
Sorry, I meant universal you
if youre below average or average at math but can explain things well you should tutor middle schoolers
yeah i misintepreted that mb
if youre good or preferably great at math and feel like you have a VERY firm grasp on high school topics you can just tutor highschoolers yeah
and if your uni offers a first year math course or something that you are taking, you can tutor people in it if youre really good at it
Yeah I think that is an option at our uni
But I'm not there yet, probably in the future
but are you taking it?
Cuz unless youre a math enthusiast who was self studying the topic before college, you need to take the course to be able to tutor it
I'm taking it, still learning it, just started.
in that case you can tutor high schoolers if youre good at math
and like i said if youre bad just tutor middle schoolers or elementary schoolers even then
I see what you mean, have firm grasp of the material you are teaching, and know how to teach well, or strive to at least
Exactly yeah you need to understand the intution behind it, know the formulas pretty well, and make sure you know how to actually explain the topic and dont just know it to yourself
cuz you dont wanna be in the situation where a student asks you a question about the topic and youre just as confused as they are lol
youre welcome!
