I dont really need the answer i just want to know how to start this for me its really confusing how to start i see 2 triangles one being a 30-60-90 and the other a 45-45-90 and it gives me one lengths.

Question is: Find the lengths of sides a, b and d if c = 3

a breakdown of how to solve this from beginning to end without getting the answer would be very helpful

Since they are all right angled triangle, you can use sine cosine and tangent to figure out all the unknowns

See,
Sin 45= 1/โˆš2=d=3
Thus, d=3/โˆš2cm

#

Similarly sin60=โˆš3/2
Thus, a=2โˆš3cm

#

And, tan60=โˆš3
Thus, b=โˆš3cm
