Ig. Transform the gallons into litre, then figure out how much litre the cars consume per second
by dividing the litres by the amount of seconds an hour has
If you figured out the consumption of the two cars per second seperatly, you can subtract them and you will get your difference
What exactly did you not understand about the process? @safe skiff
Okay. So
What I did was
I converted 6 gallons and 8 gallons into litres respectively so that was
22.7124 and 30.2832 respectively
But the thing is
According to Gauthmath, I'm supposed to divide both of these by "1 hour"
Which I don't get
And basically, the point of this division is to figure out how long it takes to fill a litre
And then to multiply this value by 3600 (seconds in an hour)
And you have to subtract them att hsi point, and you'd get the answer
Wait multiply?
But I got confused at the part around dividing them by 1 hour
Yeah
That’s weird
I know
Since the consumption per second should be less then the one per hour
Hmm
And if you divide them the answer is wrong?
I mean you could divide them by one hour and the subtract them
Then it would be the difference for an hour
And then divide by 3600
I mean, i didn't do that bit. The guy on gauthmath said his answer was 39.6 seconds
Hodl on. Do you think you could try it out and see if you get the same answer? Cause I don't understand his method-
If that's not a problem!
I mean from that website?
Nope
Oh okey
it was just written down
Ill try to find something
And maybe use your method!
Thanks!!
Okey, I’ll be back in abt an hour
If something comes up I can try it later
But good luck for now 🙂
THANK YOU SMM!!
