Right now just starting but no idea how would I continue. I have seen I could factor out (5+t)) but not sure where to go from here. Do I just cross multiply and divide everything by u?

that second image isn't correct

#

you have to factor out the 5+t first

#

$3(5+t)+u(5+t)=(5+t)(3+u)$

I just kept the addition from the original one.
