I'm super confused here.

picture 1: calc is in radians,and this is the ans.
picture 2: calc is in degrees, and then that answer was converted to radians by multiplying the ans by pi/180, but i did not get the same ans as picture 1.

why is that?

ok so basically the problem is you multiplied the WHOLE answer by pi/180, when you should only be multiplying the answer to arctan(3)

since if you multiply the whole answer by pi/180, youve also multiplied the 360 at the start by pi/180 and that messes things up

so if you multiply the answer to arctan(3) which is approximately 71 degrees, by pi/180, youll get approximately 1.23

and 360-1.23 is indeed 358.7

if youre using degrees

or just do pi/180 * arctan(3) then do 360 - ans
