you have to use simultaneous equations and find the value of x and y

here you first have to get the points for 'x-y=3' and 'x+y=5' and then you plot that on a cartesian plane and the point where they intersect should be your answer

this is also the same, you read the question, try form an equation, and then using simultaneous equations, find the values of 'x' and 'y' and that should be your answer
