A point with coordinates (x,y) moves along the curve y = x+(2x+3)^1/2 in such a way that the rate of increase of x has the constant value 0.06 units per second. Find the rate of increase of y at the instant when x =3. State whether the y-coordinate is increasing or decreasing.

Why is it, that in the last step, we only take the positive value instead of taking both +ve and -ve 1/3?
