Maybe going over the cardinality of the set of primes that divide a leads to 2^n somehow

May I ask how you came with this solution?
Any hints or anything that I might be able to get from the problem, because tbh I didn't even know where to start
However, I must say outlining some examples has made more clear that I had to use combinations somehow
I learned this concept in permuatation and combination
If u need a resource for all such types or concept, cengage maths(adv) is good
But it be better to chose the best resource depending on your current necessity
