that says -3 not -30
what?
What times up to 30 and what adds up to 13
how did we get 30?
10 times -3 is -30
noo who told you that
My teacher does that though lol
I need the steps
why did u put 3x-4 + 15? shouldnt it be (3x - 4)(3x -4)?
i think you should open the brackets first
opening brackets will be longer but it might be easier to understand
Because 15 times-2 = 30
So you put that with the a value
@fiery carbon is answer (6x-5)(15x-21)?
Yep
ok
yews its the same
Yeah
oh
you first set 3x-4=u then you have to factor 10u^2+13u-3 or 10u^2+13u-13+10... and then you substitue u back so it become 3(5x-7)(6x-5)
no please dont do that
its not that long 😅
you really dont need to
this is the way to do it
Thanks
did you get it or should i explain more?
Nah its fine
alr
D?
whats D
discriminant
i mean no?
then how you factor 10u2+13u-3
like i showed,
i still dont get why you arent just expanding 3x-4 why are u doing it the hard way
1 sec
like 10(3x-4)(3x-4) + 13(3x-4)-3
i mean you can
whats the result
but thats not the easy way
@wide relic did you get it?
10u^2+13u-3= ...so the result is 3(5x-7)(6x-5)
well its a nice idea but idk how did you imagine to subtract 13 and get the result
i could not see i could use this trick
well if you dont, just do it the way it works for you
i am just saying mine
lol
if u expand it u can just factor and then group them by using decomposition
you can yeah
.
well easier, it depends
opening it up and then finding solutions etc is always the easiest way, just not the quickest
3(5x-7)(6x-5)
np
bye
