I have tried part a and not even sure if i am correct but i found the moment by using cross product of A and F, in which i got 4F, 3F,0. I am bit clueless on what to do next.

For 3) I'm not sure, but try to plug in the values for an angle of 30 degrees (remark that the x axis and the rotation axis is not the same)

yeah i tried some stuff, lets see if it works when the answers come out. for 3, i got 42.66 degrees, for 2 i got 2.7, 2.0, 0, which seems a bit dodgy but meh

#

Thanks for the help anyway, really appreciate it!!

I retried and got 1,0,0, and 36.86

Okay I re-read 3) and I realized I misunderstood it

(1,0,0) seems wrong for the rotation axis though

#

Actually, the direction of the roatation axis is the same as the direction of the moment of the force you computed in (a)

#

Since you got the right angle, I guess this should coincide with your computations in the end

Sorry to jump into this late, and it's sounds obvious by now... but you are accounting for the fact that F applied at A is causing rotation around the x-axis and the y-axis? making solving b) this unique axis of rotation?
