Can u show in paper
I m out rn
I was just checking for any problems I could do lol
okoko
but usually they tell ppl to do it with calc lol
Exact value in decimal or approximations is fine
ok how to proceed next
maybe Newtons method of approximation
Or Taylor series
Start with an initial guess of 1 as e^0 .16 is approximately 1
I need to look up the formula I casnt be bothered sorry bro I goota watch TV
or mclaurin series lol
how many digits do you need
2
do you know what a taylor series is
this is confusing mern
approcimate it
maclaurin series for e^x
it's just 1 + 0.16 + (0.16^2)/2
@frail smelt
for reference
2! is just 1*2
ok thank u i think i got it

Use .unsolved if this was a mistake.
If you use.the Taylor or Mclaurin series wouldn't you have to show the amount of variation so you know its within two decimal places.
doesnt look like this guy cares about that

oh good youre back
lauda lassun
Yes
wassup bro
took you long enough to realize that doing 1 + 0.16 + 0.16²/2 is absolute bonkers
can u write in paper bro
If u don't understand Taylor series use linear approximation using derivatives and equation of tangent lines
theres no paper work for this
the way theyre showing
its only that calculation
ay dude
whats so bonkers there
Gives bad approximation but might work
i only know taylor shift what the hell is taylor series
0.16^2=0.256
It's an art
this is a class of Bonkers that is unfortunately above their current level
It's a way to approximate things
One of the most useful tool
They taught u equation of tangent lines using derivatives right @frail smelt ?
Use Newtons Method of approximation and check with calculator
we are not allowed to use calculators in india
What about to check the awnser?
no
You dont have to show it in the working out
ok wats the conclusion ??
At least ur taught this ?
no
Tf
yooo wat all u talking about
They asked u to show ur method ?
no iwas a step in a q
it*
ok all...wil confirm with others thank u all
