@median beacon Can you share your progress with us?
show (1+a)(1-a)^2 < 1 //you can do this because 1-a > 0
is this true
how can i prove that
in that sense
you made some math errors but this technically works if you clean it up
the easier way:
(1+a)(1-a)^2 = (1-aa)(1-a) < (1-a) < 1 //because 0<a<1
where ( what lines ) and i still dont get the easier way
aa-a+1/4 = (a-1/2)^2 not (a-1/4)^2
easier way works because:
(1+a)(1-a) = (1-aa) < 1 because aa>0
