#area of pentagon with side length of 7 inches?

There's 5 sides, so 5 equal angles... so 5 equal isoleces triangles sharing the middle point. Each angle must be thus 360/5 ... and you have each side given as 7 inches. Then bisec one of the triangles to make a right triangle (which bisecs the angle too)... then use trig to solve for this biscing length... now you can figure out the area of each triangle and thus the total area of the pentagon.
(You don't need to find the radius as that's the edge to the points along each edge... you can do it by finding the bisecting length of within one of the triangles, they give you enough info to determine this length)
tysm!!!
Does it make sense what I'm trying to explain?
Think your final total area expression ends up = (3.5/sin (36)) x 7 x 5
i think so!!! i decided to skip the assignment!!!!!!! im doing extra credit to make up for it
Oh! It wasn't a difficult question in the end... good luck!
