Since the triangle is equivally split apart, i can just assume each small leg is 14. Using a^2 + b^2 = c^2

14^2 + b^2 = 50^2
b^2 + 196 = 2500
b^2 = 2304
b = 48

Plugged into A = 1/2bh

A = 1/2(14)(48)
A = 336

But it was marked wrong..?

What do you need to do additionally?

atomic iron
quasi kiln

but it's looking for the whole

#

the area of the whole triangle

Oh

#

Uhh I guess i just multiply 334 by 2 right?

#

Im not sure if it's another process

yea

¯_(ツ)_/¯

you literally split the triangle in half

#

as did you the 28m

334 & 334

It should add up proportionally i dont get what you mean

quasi kiln

??

#

where do you get 334 from

gray birch
#

S = side (a + b + c)/2

#

Which here

#

Is 64

#

So it's root(s(s -a)(s-b)(s-c))

#

Which is

#

$root(64 x 14 x 14 x 36)$

$root(64 x 14 x 14 x 36)$
