@tropic pendant you didnt calculate the derivative of 1/(2x) properly
Thanks
Wait don’t see how it’s wrong
where does the 4 in the denominator come from
I forgot to chain rule
thats one way to do it, yea
Should be -1/2x^2 right
yea
an easier way is
derivative of 1/x is -1/x^2
so derivative of half of that is -1/(2x^2)
Thanks I didn’t think of it like that
the integral from there is easy and your method will work
.solved
you should get ||31/48||
lmk if you get stuck again

Use .unsolved if this was a mistake.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong @green kindle
here, you forgot a ^2 on the 2x^2 in the bottom half
thanks, the tediousness of these problems makes it that i always some how make a silly mistake on this
I can see you skipped a step moving that 1 + into the ()
Id do the same honestly
but make sure you show more steps to make sure that it does work out
i did the work but it was in another part of the page i forgot to post
alr Ill assume you did show the steps then on that other page
