#Pythagorean Theorem
15 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
it is a different formula that I have to use
this is one pythagor theorem wth
there are different formulas that have something to do with pythagorean theorem
well it can be done by trignometry then
alright I will try to do that
x^2+(3 sqrt 2)^2=5^2
(3 sqrt2)^2+DB^2=6^2
x+DB=y
are you sure its not just c^2-b^2=a^2
thats the pythagorean theorem but i moved around the variables (subtracted b^2 from each side)
you can also use trig which might be easier (if you know how). I'd do whatever you learnt in class last (like if i had just learnt trig i would use trig, if i just learnt pythagorean theorem id use that)
๐ I thought it was a different formula I had to use since Iโm learning different formulas related to Pythagorean theorem but thanks for the explanation
