For Q2, first simplify the domains like |x|<2 is gonna be -2<x<2
Then start graphing the function, if for example f’(x)>0 it means that the function is increasing
if f’(x)=constant it means the function is just a line
Yes I guess the want the original funcion f(x)
Yes
Also one thing, it says |x|<2 and also -2<x<0 so be careful that the domain -2<x<0 has two rules
can u sketch me an example
Sure
Unforsantly I got less than 30 min to submit this assignment
Oh so let’s do it fast
Ok here what I’m gonna do is that, I’m gonna draw a graph that increases in the part 0<x<3
because the derivative of it is positive
yeah
it can be any sort of function
but it should increase
So that as you can see, those yellow lines, thei slope is always positive
Does it make any sense to you?
Yeah, I got it
many thanks
You are done?
I still have q4 left
Yes I answered it in your new forum
.solved
