Today, we evaluate the improper integral from 0 to infinity of (x^n)/(x+1) where n is a negative real number between -1 and 0. We will be using this result in a future video!

You dont know how to divide polynomials? Is like divide numbers by hand, the same algorithm
For example if you have x^2/(x-1) then by doing the division you get (x+1)+1/(x-1)
And its more easy to solve that integral

But you already solve it using a change of variables and Newton formula for (t+1)^n
Its more clear and quick by that way
