Here is a square root problem that I do not know how to solve. My solution was √11-3+ √11+3 because the power of two and a square root resolves when simplified. So help

you can´t do that

#

$$\sqrt{a^2+b^2} \neq a+b $$

Expand the squares and simplify equal terms

So then what would be the complete answer? I know I’m missing 2ab but I don’t know what the 2ab is

(a-b)^2+(a+b)^2 =
aa-2ab+bb+aa+2ab+bb =
2aa+2bb //because 2ab-2ab=0

a=sqrt(11); b=3
211+23*3 = 40
sqrt(40) final answer
