First, see x as an angle (between 0 and 2pi). That's the trick to use the unit circle
Next, remember where to read cosine and sine on the unit circle. This should guide you to the answer

You have to find out for what angle x we have sin(x) < cos(x)
If you meant try with usual values as π/2, π/4 etc then yeah you can definitely do that to get an idea of the answer

You can try to look at the values for which sin(x)=cos(x). This will define the bounds of the set you're looking for
If you don't like the unit circle, another method is to graph both sin(x) and cos(x) on the same graph
i think i have a better idea on how to do it now
how would you know which values are sin(x)=cos(x)? also thanks for the help too

got it now
So if I read it correctly, the question is saying x is an element on the interval [0,2pi]. Graphing cos x and sin x we can see that sin(x) is less than cos(x) at 0,3pi/2,2pi.
i got this working out
its the right answer
but doesn't really make sense to me
bc sin(pi/3) isnt less than cos(pi/4)
