If my math mark was at a 56 percent and that’s worth 80 percent on my grade and I have an exam that’s worth 20 percent of my grade. What mark do I need to get on the exam to pass the class with 50% percent

so 80x0.56 = 44.8 so that is ur grade if u get a 0 on the exam

for a 50 u take 50-44.8 and get 5.2 so u need 5.2 out of the 20% of the exams marks

5.2/20 = 0.26

so u theoretically need a 26% on the exam to pass this course if the course doesn't require u to get at least 50% on the exam to pass which some courses do

With the exam tho obv my my final grade tho is 100 worth 100 percent just my grade is worth 80 percent rn and the exam will be worth 20 percent so I will need a 26 percent to pass with a 50% in the class knowing all that info correct
