Forget about everything and stick to x
Imagine you have a line which one part is 150
What is going to be the second angle?
75?
So the second line is gonna be 75?
Remember the total angle of straight line is 180 degrees. If we already used up 150 degrees of the 180 how much is left for x?
a straight line with 3 points A, B and C on it (B is in the middle of A and C) => angle ABC = 180
sooo
x is just 180 - 150
Google complementary and corresponding/co-interior angles
so true
for x vertically opposite angles are equal so that means the answer for x is just 150+150+x+x. 2x+300=360 solve for x and you get 30 since you have x to find y you use the rule that co-interior angles add up to 180 so 180-30=150 so y=150.
