Idk the command, no solutions

This is obviously someone’s homework, so don’t just give them the answer; that’s anti- academic integrity.

ok, got you. you mean i might give person only a small hint to help them?

Yes, or give them a process to follow

#

Like saying: hey use the quadratic formula

#

Going step by step with them is also okay most of the time.

#

But if it’s obviously homework don’t just give them answers.

thanks, just looking around yet here, should go and read rules carefully

As a helper, please do not give out answers that could be copied as a homework solution. Have the student work through the problem themselves and guide them along the way.

4x^2 - 12x + 9

Use Procedural method for when a > 0 in the form ax^2 + bx + c = 0

4x^2 - 12x + 9 (Multiply 4x^2 by 9) We get 36x^2

Then ask yourself which two numbers sum up to - 12x and equal 36x^2 when multiplied?

-6x, -6x

-6x - 6x = -12x

(-6x) x (-6x) = 36x^2
replace the middle term with these two numbers we find added together should equal sum when added or were doing it wrong. That like in the middle below picturize it as an imaginary separator

4x^2 - 6x | - 6x + 9

2x(2x -3) | -3(2x-3)

(2x-3)(2x-3) = 0

Verify (4x^2 -12x + 9) = 0

Using Zero Product Property rule:

(2x - 3) = 0
x = 3/2

verify:

f(3/2) = 4(3/2)^2 - 12(3/2) + 9
—> 36/4 - 18 + 9 —> -9 + 9 = 0

therefore x = 3/2 is a solution (Always check for extraneous roots)

Also no one cares abt ur money lol, the point here is to help others learn. Learn from this. Don’t try to bribe ur way through things, cus it ain’t gonna do shit, but use this and learn. Also this ain’t complicated as it may look in this format, cus I am having to type on phone.

If you want to understand why it works or see a vid jus type in factoring by procedural method, or as I like to refer to it. A-C method,
