$(2^1+1)(2^2+1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1) = (2^{16}+1)$

the function is defined for natural numbers only, so I don't think inputting x=0 is correct
then the options dont make sense
according to wikipedia n is a non negative integer, which includes 0
