Are you familiar with how to calculate the slope of a straight line?
nvm i got it
can u help w this tho
have you made any progress yourself so far?
yea
lol im overthinking ๐ญ
so negative velocity acts down the hill
in C and D velocity is constant, so there's no acceleration
in A the velocity is increasing (positive velocity = up the hill)
therefore B must be the answer
because it said it travels along a highway with a velocity of 100km so it wont be -100 it would be positive 100 and it didnt say it was going downhill or uphill
it travels down a highway with velocity 100km/h [West]
And what does positive velocity indicate, according to the question?
east?
Yup
oh
So by choosing C, you're saying it has a velocity of 100km/h east
nvm so its d
correct!
start with (i)
during the 4-5 second period, how would you describe the ball's movement?
and if you look at your options
for part (i) you only have stationary or uniform
which do you think it is and why?
doe sstationary mean still
ok so stationary
ok
can you figure out the rest by yourself now?
i think so
give it a go, and if you get stuck or are unsure, you can double check here ๐
what does neither and the forward mean-
so forward
yea
but you said the ball is stationary
oh wait
even if you were unsure, you could look at part iii and make sure that's also correct
so neither
correct
and just to be sure
does part iii check out for the option you were going to choose?
yayy thanks
