#How do I Transform an Equation to a Quadratic Equation?
68 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
the one on the top is the first question
Aditya gamer
so :
$x+6x+4 = -2(3x^2+2x)$
Aditya gamer
$7x+4 = -6x^2-4x$
Aditya gamer
isn't it like 2, and x - 3 and you multiply them to x + 3 and x, and if 2 is multiplied to its own number it gets cancelled out, same to (x - 3)
nice
then we simplify then transpose? @patent warren
please wait
yes
$6x^2+11x+4 = 0$
Aditya gamer
what?
use the same way
and try on your own
If you get any problem then I will help
I am here for the next 30 minutes

I can't DM you! Do you have DMs disabled?

@small drift ..
You got one thing wrong let me write it
okay
$\frac{x+3}{2} - \frac{x}{x-3} = 4$ = $\frac{(x+3)(x-3) -2x}{2(x-3)}$
Aditya gamer
whats next
Aditya gamer
then we simplify yea?
$x^2-2x-9 = 8x-24$ which is $x^2-10x+15 = 0$
- -9 - 24?
Yeah this will be correct
Aditya gamer
oh nice
thanks alot
do u happen to know
if khan academy
has a lesson on this
im good thanks
whats a good alternative to khan academy, if they dont have the lesson
I think geeksforgeeks as I understood whole quadratic equations from them
.solved
