#find the area of rectangle

i graphed the points P and Q
and dunno what to do next
ok, so we know that it is a rectangle, means it has to have 4 angles with 90°
means to graph QR, you need to draw a line from Q in a 90° to PQ until you hit the x axis
then if you figured out the length of this line, you should be able to calculate the size of the area
now, my question, is a graphical solution enough for you?
@cunning garden
the graphical solution is not enough
how can i find the lengh of the sides
of that rectangle
knowing only the points P and Q?
ok so to figure out the length between P and Q, you can use Pythagoras means a²+b² =c²
if you figure out the point R, you can also find out that length and get your area
great! good job
