Hi! I am doing for practice a competition exercises, and I got a little problem with one.

The task is: (its translated from Hungarian to English)
As shown in the picture below, there are three regular hexagons in a rectangle. The rectangle
has an area of 80 m2. What is the area of a hexagon?

And here is a picture about the rectangle.

The problem is that I don't know how to start it or what to do with this.

you can also count equilateral triangles, which there are 6 in each

I would just set it up like the side length of the hexagon is x.

Then from there calculate the area of the rectangle in terms of x.

Then equate it to the actual area of the rectangle and solve for x.

Then you can find the area of a hexagon because you know its side length.
