#Inequation

What's your question?
so i use delta (b^2 -4ac) that is more simple to do it, but we didn't learn it yet, and in inequations at the end there is a board to do
,rotate
like this
and i want to know if i use delta how can i do this board, because the result is 1 number
The table is made by plugging in the zeroes of the equation
But since your delta is negative, there are no zeroes
so your table will only have -infinity, +infinity, and just one interval in between
ok and i what i put in the left of the table ?
Strictly speaking, a table isn't necessary. It's not even helpful here.
You're trying to find when a polynomial is positive.
To answer that question, you look for when the polynomial equal 0, because those are the only times when the polynomial might switch sign.
This polynomial has NO x-intercepts.
That means that it NEVER changes sign.
This precalculus video provides a basic introduction into solving polynomial inequalities using a sign chart on a number line and expressing the solution as an inequality using interval notation.
