do you have a particular function in mind or do you just want to show that this is the case for certain rational functions
i dont have particular function
ok, what are your own thoughts?
i dont understand the meaning of the task
i agree, it's sort of a silly question
mb it depends from the degree, like in parabolas more higher degree more linear parabola
it's really just asking why rational functions have a "line" part as well as an asymptote
?
ye
the reason that they behave like "lines" as well is for the same reason
i mean honestly the question needs you to make a ton of assumptions
idk, we have in top heavy func 2 as vertical asymptote and diagonal asymptote and at the intersection we get a bend \
that all what i can say
are you sure there isn't more to this question
ok but that's just not true for all rational functions
this? on;y for top heavy and if the numerator is one greater than the denominator
i don't know what top heavy means
yes so long it's one degree larger
then denominator
and the quotient is a first degree polynomial
what is your native language
