could be "subtract to 6", aka the area of triangle is 6
It was a typo.
Look.
Rectangle's area - triangle's area = 6cm^2
So 24cm^2 - 6cm^2 = 18cm^2
Now the numbers should be 9 and 4, right?
and whats "supposed" to be correct?
9x4 gives you the area
2x9 + 2x4 gives you the perimeter
the triangle, assuming it's a right-angled triangle and the 9 and 4 are the shorter sides, has 9 + 4 + sqrt(9^2 + 4^2) perimeter
the area of the triangle is 1/2 the area of the rectangle
