Now we have 1/x-1= square root of 6/x

Then you can move some things around to obtain a qiadratic in x and solve it with the quadratic formula
The final answer will be ||x+1/x=13/6||

Hello there sorry for the ping but when I've shown the solution to my teacher( I do this to make sure it's a good answer) he told me that there's another BETTER solution to determine the value of x+1/x directly without calculating the value of x. Do you know something about it?
