Help- 16| Lily
Do you know the answer? I got 56.
Hmm I set his initial money equal to x
then he spent 1/2 * x + 14 on his first trip and on his second trip he spent 1/3* (X-(1/2 * X + 14)) and then hes left with 0
Wouldn’t it be +28? Since he spent 14 dollars each trip
Only part I don’t understand is the X is being distributed to the 1/2 or is it not being distributed?
There is no distribution here, only with the 1/3
I put the brackets so that it's clear he's losing the money
Is it possible for me to see it set up?
It looks a bit messy since I wasn't really focused on making it look understandable
And since I added the 14 after you told me it's kind of squeezing in
But hes losing the money
