Integral Solution

Hello, I have a question for the integral solution on the pic. I understand why its being split up, since sin cuts the x- achse(??). But why is the middle one -sin and not sin? I know that part of the graph is beneath 0 but I thought for integral we just need to mind the cuts with 0?
