#I don't understand how to solve (1+X)^2
20 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
That picture is useful for computing (1+x) raised to higher powers, but for (1+x)^2, you want to use the distributive property.
I am aware, but i am trying to solve it without using the picture
what i am asking is how do i distribute it
i searched it up, and thats what i am confused on
Do you know how to distribute y(1+x)?
No like I said I suck at math
If you could help me understand that would be nice
Oh wait
Nevermind this post is stupid
I just need to learn how to properly distribute
🤦♂️
I have google
i am an idiot
Thanks for the help @drifting tide
Figuring out exactly where you're not understanding something is really useful. Good luck!

Don't understand what? Did you post on the wrong place? This wasn't your question.
