#anyone know how to put a f(y) function into a ti 84?
12 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
im trying to graph x=1-y^2 on my ti84
What's ti84
Which TI-84 model is it? Is it a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, TI-84 Plus CE, TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, TI-84 Plus. There are many models so which is it?

plus ce
i was able to do it in parametric mode, is there any other way?
Are you familiar with conics? Go to apps > 4:Conics > 4: Parabola
There are two options
Option 1 is for horizontal parabolas (left, right)
Option 2 is for vertical parabolas (up,down)
This parabola is a horizontal so press 1 which gives you the equation of a horizontal parabola.
Enter values h,k and p.
h is the first point of the vertex and k is the second point of the vertex. P is the distance from vertex to the focus.
im wanting to do this for any f(y) in general not just horizontal parabolas
but yeah im familiar with that
