F stands for force, cos(theta) always requires an angle and PQ has an arrow above it, so it has a direction/distance. I think you can do the rest yourself.
@west scarab so just 60×100=cos(45°)=4242?
I think so yes.
If PQ was a vector you would first need to calculate the distance, but since the distance is given this should be correct

Just dont write = between cosine and 100, it should be a multiplication, as you did correctly on your calculator
