tried this problem like 10 times
I suggest is doing all of these separately and changing some of the variables away from x to other variables to avoid any confusion
yeah thats what I did obviously
but im stuck on the second bracket
ok lemme try it rq
ok its gonna be = -7 using that rule
what about the last part
the summation
Are you shur it is -7 I got a different answer
Give me a sec and I will
okay
I might take a little while longer I'm in the middle of class lol
okay
I think when you did the dirivtive of 1+7((e^-x)-1) you got 7e^-x when it should be -7e^-x
yah im still learniing calculus so
Just rember the diritive of e^-x=-e^-x
Well for a infinit geometric sires there is a simple formula
For a infinit summation starting from 0 if the commen ratio is below 1 it is 1/(1-r)
If it starts at a Differenct number like a it's a/(1-r)
We're r is the commen ratio
We do it so the summation is 1/(1+16/17)
= 17
Yes

Use .unsolved if this was a mistake.
Umm it's not 1034
wait wut?
You added 17 when you should of subtracted
There are parentheses around the 7 and 17 so it's 4^5-(7+17)
im a high schooler too 😄
Oh what grade
grade 11
Imagen being helped by a freshman lol (9th grade)
