Cos x can’t be more than 1
Even though the ratio of sin(x) to cos(x) is equal to (5√39)/39, it doesn't mean cos(x) is 39 since the ratio can be simplified.
This is also true.
What can the ratio be simplified to
You could for example multiply top and bottom by 2, making it (10√39)/78.
It doesn't mean that cos(x) is 78 though.
Use the cosecant to find the sin
Then use the sin^2+cos*2=1
With the quadrant of the angle
To find cos
If $\csc{x}=8/5$, then $\sin{x}=5/8$. Using $1-\sin^2{x}=\cos^2{x}$, you can find $\cos{x}$, and then $\tan{x}$ is just the ratio of the two.

Precalc but I read some of a calc textbook. Got to integration by parts

I didn't do it this year but I did it in previous years. This year I decided not to do mathcounts because I had a lot of stuff going on at the beginning of the year. I do not have as much going on now, but it is too late to change my decision.
