What do you notice about the angle measures in the triangle?
Sum of angles on a triangle would be 180
So, we know that we got 60 and 90, so we need a 30 to get 180
It's just sin and cosine
we are here to help, not to do homework
If you solved one, then you can solve all other ones, its same for all
Just apply the properties of special right triangles
Just use special right triangles
Yes
Rules of 30-60-90
Hypotenuse = 2(Short Leg)
Short Leg = Hypotenuse/2
Long Leg = (Short Leg) x √3```
So you kind of just have to work backwards
We are given 8 √5
So we divide 8 √5 by 2 and that gets us 4 √5
We can then proceed to find the long leg which we know from the rules is the short leg x √3 so when we put that into play we do:
4 √5 x √3 = 4 √15
All you have to do is follow the rules and you can use trig functions to check your work
Hope that helps @limber canopy
