how'd you get 0.9?

How about writing down what you did you calculate it? Then we can also see what you did wrong.

I took the integral of 2/x^3, which is -1/x^2+C.
And I substituted in 10 and 1.
(-1/10^2)-(-1/1^2)= -1/100+1/1=99/100=.99
then substitute 100 and 1000
for .9999 and .999999
and then it's just a normal improper integral and also obvious that the total area will be 1
this makes it even more confusing
