Are you aware of how to find the perimeterof a rectangle?
Basically, perimeter is as it sounds - the length of all sides summed up together.
In order to find the perimeter, all you need to do is to sum up all values, and you will get your answer!
However, if you’re aiming to find x, you will need to refer to the question itself, as x is impossible to find if the actual perimeter of the rectangle isn’t provided
Is this still unsolved?
if its not solved yet what i think is since they have given you the sides but in terms of x the answer may still me in terms of x maybe if they gave u the area but if not its gonna be x+3 + 2x-6 + x+3 + 2x-6 then collect the like terms and it will be x+2x+x+2x+3+3-6-6 =6x+6-12 and if u see the 6 and -12 r the same so u just solve them and the final answer will be 6x-6
yep thats the answer im getting
since this doeant give the value of the perimeter, it's actually impossible to find the numerical value
okay
Add the sides together
So, to find the perimeter of a rectangle, you need to add all of the sides, in this case, 2(x + 3) + 2(2x - 6)
and 2x + 6 + 4x - 12 equals to 6x - 6
