#How do i get rid of the sin (x-pi/4) in both of these problems?

Do you know the angle subtraction formulae?

@cold prairiethere is a way to do it
you have to use one of those formulas
it said that sin(a+b)=sin(a)cos(b)-sin(b)cos(a)
try to use that formula
same thing with cos(a-b)
for the second term
in the expression
cos(a-b)=cos(a)cos(b)+sin(a)sin(b)
