I believe you use power series expansion on both functions. Taylor series.
you can expand e^kx using taylor series, and you want k=lna
2^(-3 * 4) = 2^-12 so so a^x = 2^-12

this is the formula, and you form the series around a point x0, if x0 is zero then all the (x-x0)^n terms become x^n
