Hint: you can manipulate the left-hand side by drawing a right triangle.
I think I'm assuming that should be a sine-inverse on the outside. If so, it can be done without a calculator.
If it really is sin(sec(x)) then I'm not sure.

I think maybe he meant an inverse on either the sine or the sec. It's a pretty standard exercise when one of them is an inverse. Or perhaps you copied it from the board without seeing the inverse sign.
