@carmine kestrel so uh the roots of equations means those points on graphβs which touch y=0(i.e x axis)
A solution, root, or zero of a function is possible value of x equal to 0
You can also call it the x-intercept, or the place where the function crosses the x axis
In this case, the graph crosses the x axis at -7, 0, 5, 8
So the solution is:

is it just the x values and y values or ?
Domain is all possible x values
Range is all possible y values
really? is that the definition of domain
im always so confused b/w domain and range

domain finds the maximum and minimum values of x
and range is for y
but sometimes the notation is different not just the max and min
