hey guys i just need help understanding how to find the equation of this function

Consider the key characteristics of cosine or sine functions

you start with sin(x) and squeeze it around

if you start with cos(x), you'll get a different answer that's also correct

also it's drawn weirdly, and you can;t tell where the points are supposed to be

it's maybe supposed to be 3/2 pi for the period

i'd reccomend using cosine since then you wont have to account for a phase shift
